Novaggio

Novaggio is a municipality in the district of Breno, in the region Malcantone, in the district of Lugano in the canton of Ticino in Switzerland.

History

The village is first mentioned as Novizio in the year 1335., The project, the community band together with the neighboring villages Astano, Bedigliora, Curio, Miglieglia the new community Medio Malcantone, was dropped after the negative votes in the municipalities in 2004.
