Nový Dům
Nový Dum ( German Neuhaus) is a municipality with 154 inhabitants in the Czech Republic. It is located eight kilometers south-east of Rakovníka and belongs to Okres Rakovník. The municipality covers an area of 626 ha
Geography
The village is located on a large clearing in the middle of the forest in Pürglitzer 420 meters above sea level. M. Bach on Ryšavá. In the West, State Road 227 leads between Rakovníka and Roztoky and in the East the past 236 Roztoky by Lany.
To the northeast are the pheasant and the summer residence of the Czech president belonging hunting lodge Amálie. East of Nový Dum is located along River Klíčava and along the road II/236 remnants of horses train Prague - Lana.
History
Nový Dum originated in 1835 as a settlement for a workers built by the Prince salvors in the forest ironworks. By 1950, Nový Dum was the municipality Rysin belonging.
