NSB Di 2

The NSB Di 2 is a shunting of the Norwegian State Railways ( NSB). It was built in three copies of MaK in Kiel in 1954 and 1957. MaK developed this machine initially for the Stockholm- Nynas - Järnväg AB in Sweden under the series designation MaK 575 C. This is where in 1951 two specimens were set as the SNJ 11 and 12.

The six built by MaK Tue, 2 was equipped with MaK diesel engines with 575 hp ( 423 kW ) and a Voith gearbox, the same equipment received the 1958 Mekaniske of Thunes verksted built locomotives 804 and 805 The rest of Thunes built 1961-1973 machines received BMV engines. The speed limit is 80 km / h t with a service weight of 49.

The following locomotives have been preserved:

  • 817 - Bergen Teknisk Museum
  • 827 - Norsk Jernbaneklubb
  • 833 - Norsk Jernbanemuseum Hamar - painted green
  • 848 - Setesdalsbanen

The locomotives 805, 807 and 817 were used in the Norwegian Olsen Gang films.

Skd 225 236

In 1997 the locomotive was equipped 854 in the Netherlands with a Caterpillar engine with 720 hp. We also find the cab was modernized. The locomotive, which was then used by CargoNet, was ranked as the only Rangiertraktor under the name Skd 225 with the number 236.
