NSB Di 4

The Di series 4 Norges Statsbaner ( NSB) are diesel-electric locomotives for the carriage of passenger trains on non-electrified lines. They are mainly used on the north runway, because the remaining non-electrified routes are served by railcars.

The five Tue, 4 were built in 1980 by Henschel and made a year later with the course numbers 4651-4655 in service. It was intended to replace the mid- 1990s by locomotives Tue, 6 series, but this proved to be a failure. From shunting aside, the di 4 are now the only diesel locomotives of the NSB.

Despite outward differences, the ME (II ) Danske Statsbaner series of Di corresponds largely technically 4
