Nugzar Ashuba

Nugzar Aschuba ( born March 2, 1952 in Guada at Ochamchyra, Abkhaz ASSR, Georgian SSR, Soviet Union ) is an Abkhaz politician.

Nugzar Aschuba graduated in 1976 to study at the Polytechnic Lenin Institute of the Georgian SSR from. He then worked as an engineer at the Office of Communications in Ochamchyra. At the same time he began a political career in the communist youth organization Komsomol, in which he became First Secretary of the Abkhazian Komsomol until 1986. From 1984 to 1990, Aschuba member of the Supreme Soviet of the Abkhaz SSR, 1986-1992 Abkhazian Minister of Culture. After the collapse of the Soviet Union until 1995, he was first chairman of the State Committee for Repatriation. After that he worked in the private sector, first in Russia and from 1999 in Abkhazia, where he was director of the tea factory " Belan " in Gudauta. 2002 Aschuba was elected to the National Assembly and the President of Parliament.
