Nursultan Mamayev

Nursultan Mamajew ( Kazakh Нұрсұлтан Мамаев; Russian Нурсултан Мамаев; * June 27, 1993 in Shymkent ) is a Kazakh Taekwondoin. It starts in the weight class up to 58 kg.

His first international appearance was Mamajew at the Youth Olympic Games 2010 in Singapore. In the category up to 55 kg, he reached the finals and won the silver medal. The following year he won the Asian Olympic qualifying tournament in Bangkok in the class up to 58 kg in the semifinal against Lê Huỳnh Châu and secured the participation in the 2012 Olympic Games in London. In his first Asia Championship 2012 in Ho Chi Minh City, he reached the second round.

Mamajew was preparing for the 2012 Olympic Games in South Korea several weeks ago. He is trained by Baur Chan Amankulow.
