NUTS of Italy
As NUTS: IT or NUTS regions in Italy is called Italy's territorial organization in accordance with the European " Nomenclature of Territorial Units for Statistics (NUTS)".
Basics
In Italy, the three NUTS levels are assigned as follows:
- NUTS -1: 5 regions according to NUTS;
- NUTS -2: 19 regions, Trentino -Alto Adige is missing;
- NUTS -3: the 109 provinces, the Province of Milan nor the Province of Monza and Brianza covers.
