Nyambayaryn Tögstsogt
Njambajaryn Tögstsogt (Mongolian Нямбаярын Төгсцогт; * June 23, 1992 in Ulaanbaatar ) is a Mongolian boxer. He won the Flyweight Silver medal at the 2009 World Championships and at the 2012 Olympic Games since 2010. Tögstsogt starts regularly for Baku in the World Series of Boxing.
Career
Attention first to be made Tögstsogt in 2008 when he finished 3rd place in the 4th Children of Asia International Games. His debut with the men he celebrated in 2009 when he reached the semi-finals of a tournament in Khabarovsk. In the same year he took part in the Asian Championships in Zhuhai, where he retired after a win against the Kazakhs Birschan Schaqypow ( 10:4 ) in the semifinals against the Indians Nanao Singh ( 7:15 ) and thus won the bronze medal. With this success in the back Tögstsogt participated in the 2009 World Championships in Milan. Here he fought his way to point victories against Suranjoy Singh, India ( 10 10 ), Peter Senky, Slovakia ( 12:7 ), Declan Geraghty, Ireland ( 17:7 ), Vincenzo Picardi, Italy ( 12:7 ) and Mikhail Alojan, Russia ( 8:7 ). In the final he lost clearly on points against the Puerto Rican McWilliams Arroyo ( 18:2 ). With this success, he had fought in a short time in the world's top flyweight.
Still, as a junior ( U19) eligible to Tögstsogt reached at the 2010 Asian Junior Championships in Tehran and the silver medal at the Junior World Championships in Baku, he retired in the quarterfinals of. At the World Championships of the students in the same year in Ulaanbaatar he won the gold medal and at the Asian Games in Guangzhou, he retired in the first battle of. The same fate befell him at the Asian Championships 2011 in Incheon.
At the 2011 World Championships Tögstsogt won on points against Stefan Ivanov, Bulgaria ( 22:15 ) and Suranjoy Singh, India ( 17:14 ) before it in the second round against Elvin Mamishzade, Azerbaijan lost ( 14:17 ).
