Nyergesújfalu

Nyergesújfalu ( German Neudorf an der Donau ) is a town in Komárom-Esztergom county in the North West of Hungary. On 1 January 2011 there lived 7,510 inhabitants. Mayor of Nyergesújfalu since 2010 Magdolna Mihelik.

Location

Nyergesújfalu lies on the southern bank of the Danube, which is here about 1 km wide. The northern shores already belongs to Slovakia. Through the city runs the road No 10, which runs from Györ Komárom in the capital Budapest.
