Geography
Charles Village Neuthard lies about 6 km west of Bruchsal and about 18 km northeast of Karlsruhe.
By Karl village flows the Saalbach Saalbach and the relief channel. Charles Village is also crossed by the so-called Hardt ditch. By Neuthard the Pfinz that extends into the Pfinztal flows. Between Charles Village and Neuthard is the seven- Alder Lake, a recreational area of the community, which is surrounded by the Hardt forest.

The municipality Charles Village Neuthard arose in the course of municipal reform through the voluntary merger of the formerly independent places Karl village and Neuthard on 1 January 1975. Charles village
Karl village was founded in 1813, were resettled as a citizen of Dettenheim who has suffered from the strong flood of the Rhine with the permission of the Grand Duke Charles of Baden. Neuthard
Neuthard was first mentioned in records in 1281. It belonged for many centuries to the Bishopric of Speyer. Partnerships
Charles Village Neuthard maintains partnerships with Nyergesújfalu since 1991 in Hungary. In November 2010, also a twinning agreement with the southern Brazilian city Guabiruba was signed.

Traffic
Charles Village Neuthard is served by bus line 123 from the Karlsruhe Transport Association, which runs to Karlsruhe and Bruchsal. By Bruhrainbahn ( Bruchsal - Germersheim ) Karl village is connected to the network of Deutsche Bahn. About the Federal Highway 35, which passes as a northern bypass at the site since 2003, Charles Village Neuthard is connected with the Federal Highway 5. The exit Bruchsal / Charles Village binds the district Karl village on to the highway.
Education
With the Schönborn school in Charles Village and Sebastian School in Neuthard the municipality has two primary and secondary schools. There are also four Roman Catholic kindergartens.
Industry
With the commercial area in Ochsenstall, directly on the main highway 5, in the district of Karl village and the industrial area in the district Neuthard the community has two business parks. Further, the community has a yard and a sewage treatment plant ( district Neuthard ), a gravel plant ( district Karl village) and some grocery stores in both districts.
