Geography

Charles Village Neuthard lies about 6 km west of Bruchsal and about 18 km northeast of Karlsruhe.

By Karl village flows the Saalbach Saalbach and the relief channel. Charles Village is also crossed by the so-called Hardt ditch. By Neuthard the Pfinz that extends into the Pfinztal flows. Between Charles Village and Neuthard is the seven- Alder Lake, a recreational area of the community, which is surrounded by the Hardt forest.

Charles village

Karl village was founded in 1813, were resettled as a citizen of Dettenheim who has suffered from the strong flood of the Rhine with the permission of the Grand Duke Charles of Baden. Neuthard

Neuthard was first mentioned in records in 1281. It belonged for many centuries to the Bishopric of Speyer. Charles Village Neuthard maintains partnerships with Nyergesújfalu since 1991 in Hungary. In November 2010, also a twinning agreement with the southern Brazilian city Guabiruba was signed.

Traffic

Charles Village Neuthard is served by bus line 123 from the Karlsruhe Transport Association, which runs to Karlsruhe and Bruchsal.
