Stutensee

Stutensee is a city in the region of Karlsruhe in Baden- Württemberg. It is to Bruchsal Ettlingen Bretten and the fourth largest city of the district of Karlsruhe and is reported as a sub- center in the central region or upper center of Karlsruhe. Seat of administration is in Blankenloch.

Geography

Stutensee is located in the Upper Rhine Valley just north of the city of Karlsruhe. The namesake of the city is the castle Stutensee, located in the center of the four districts. Parts of the community are covered by the Hardt Forest and flows through the Pfinz.

Boroughs

The city Stutensee consists of the districts Blankenloch (including Büchig ) ( 11,849 inhabitants on 1 July 2011), Friedrichstal ( 5,117 inhabitants), Spöck ( 4,364 inhabitants) and Stafford ( 2,001 inhabitants). The districts are identical to the self-employed until the end of 1974 municipalities of the same name, their official designation has been made in the form " Stutensee - ... ". The districts also form residential areas within the meaning of Baden-Württemberg municipal code. In the districts Blankenloch, Friedrichstal, Spöck and Staffort villages are set up for the purposes of Baden-Württemberg municipal code, each with its own mayor and Ortschaftsrat as its Chairperson.

For district Blankenloch (including Büchig ) includes the villages Blankenloch and Büchig and castle and houses Stutensee. Among the districts Friedrichstal and Stafford each include only the villages of the same name. For Spöck district includes the village Spöck and the house forester's house in the Hardt forest.

In Blankenloch district (including Büchig ), the waste places Hithelinhowa and Krettenloch, in Spöck district lies the deserted village Hainhof and in the Stafford area the deserted quarry.

History

Stutensee was created by the local government reform in the 1970s, when the four municipalities Blankenloch were combined ( with the 1935 incorporated the district Büchig and the associated living space Stutensee ) Friedrichstal, Spöck and Stafford on 1 January 1975 the municipality Stutensee. Earlier, the mayor of the four municipalities had the so-called " Stutensee contract" on the formation of new community Stutensee closed on 20 May 1974 at Schloss Stutensee, which was built in 1749 by order of Margrave Karl Friedrich of Baden.

However, most neighborhoods are already old settlements. So Spöck were in 865 as Specchaa mentioned Staffort 1110 Stafphort, Blankenloch 1337 as Blanke Lach and Büchig 1373 as Buchech first time. Friedrichstal however, is a foundation of religious refugees ( Huguenots ) from northern France, Belgium and Switzerland, and was built from 1699 on the cleared Hardtwaldstadion with the involvement of parts of the community Spöck.

All five villages were part of the Margraviate of Baden -Durlach. Stafford was to the 18th century seat of an office, but the places then came to the chief official of Karlsruhe. From 1803 to 1809, the congregations were placed temporarily to the Official Durlach and from 1809 to the Land Office Karlsruhe, which in 1864 merged with the municipal office Karlsruhe Karlsruhe district office. In 1930 the municipalities of Blankenloch, Friedrichstal and Spöck were enlarged considerably by splitting the Hardt Forest. In 1935, the community was incorporated after Büchig Blankenloch, and the remaining four communities arrived at the district reform in 1938 the district of Karlsruhe.

In 1919, the Mannheim Regional Court President Dr. Heinrich Wetzlar and his wife Therese founded a state- approved school in which a reform program to rehabilitate juvenile delinquents was tested. The Jewish couple were banned from working in 1933, and in 1943 they were murdered in the concentration camp Theresienstadt. Today's youth home country honored the persecuted with the name " Heinrich- Wetzlar - house".

In 1990 the population of the municipality Stutensee crossed the 20,000 mark. The municipal administration introduced only in 1997, but the request for elevation to the county seat, which then decided the state government of Baden- Württemberg with effect from 1 January 1998.

Religions

The area of the city Stutensee originally belonged to the diocese of Speyer. Politically, the places Blankenloch, Büchig, Spöck and Staffort part of the Margraviate of Baden -Durlach, who introduced the Reformation in all places. Therefore these places for centuries were predominantly Protestant. Also, the 1699 newly created Friedrichstal was a Protestant establishment. First, there were only three parishes: Blankenloch (today Michaelis church ), Spöck ( with filial community Stafford ) and Friedrichstal. Only in the 20th century, the Holy Spirit parish Büchig became an independent parish. Likewise, established on 1 January 1986, the parish Staffort - Büchenau from the former belonging to Spöck Branch Stafford community and belonging to the city of Bruchsal district Büchenau, which as a predominantly Catholic city previously had no church of their own community. All municipalities now belong to the church district of Karlsruhe country ( based in Bruchsal ) within the Evangelical Church in Baden.

In addition, in Stutensee also communities of various free churches, including the Evangelical Free Church congregation Blankenloch ( Baptists ), the United Methodist Church congregation Blankenloch and two Liebenzeller Communities ( Blankenloch and Stafford ) and the Christian community Blankenloch.

After the Second World War also attracted Catholics, mostly refugees from the eastern territories, in the present-day districts of Stutensee, and as catholic churches were from 1954 to today in all parts of the city to be built, and that the churches of St. Joseph Blankenloch, St. Elisabeth Friedrichstal, St. George Spöck, St. Wolfgang Staffort and Holy Spirit Büchig. The City Council of the City Stutensee since the last local election of 7 June 2009 a total of 27 members who lead the title " Councilwoman / City Council ". The choice was as follows:

In the districts Friedrichstal, Spöck and Stafford, there is one consisting of 6 members Ortschaftsrat with a mayor. The local councils are elected by the population of the town at each municipal election. They can be listened to important, relevant locality matters. The blank punch Ortschaftsrat was disbanded in 2004. His place of the district committee came. The coat of arms of the city shows in gold over blue Wellenschildfuß a jumping red mare. The city colors are red and yellow. The coat of arms was granted by the municipality Stutensee District Office in Karlsruhe on 29 April 1976. Stutensee can be reached via the motorway 5 Karlsruhe -Frankfurt ( connection points Karlsruhe- Durlach, Karlsruhe and Bruchsal -Nord ). The main roads 3 ( Buxtehude Weil am Rhein) and 36 ( Mannheim-Lahr/Schwarzwald ) run past the east or west of the city Stutensee.

The districts Blankenloch and Friedrichstal have rail connection along the route Karlsruhe Mannheim. The public transport (PT ) serves the main rail line S2 of the Karlsruhe Transport Association (CDV ). The stops in Stutensee are " Büchig " ( Büchig ), "South", " Tolna Square ", " church ", " Miihlenweg ", "North" ( Blankenloch ), " Saint- Riquier - space ", " middle ", " North " ( Friedrichstal ), " high-rise "and" Richard Pike School " ( Spöck ). Volunteer Fire Department

The volunteer fire department Stutensee emerges from the merger of the four municipalities Blankenloch with Büchig, Friedrichstal, Spöck and Stafford in 1975. Currently it consists of the department fire departments: Blankenloch, Friedrichstal, Spöck and Stafford. Back per year, the task forces with 16 vehicles to about 160-170 inserts. The Fire Company Büchig broke up in 2005, the vehicle was handed over to the Department firefighters Blankenloch.
