OFC U-20 Championship

The U-20 Football Ozeanienmeisterschaft (English OFC U -20 Championship ) is a football competition between the oceanic national teams for male soccer players under 20 years and is primarily used to qualify for the Junior World Cup (U -20). It was first held in 1974 and currently takes place every two years. Eligible are basically all eleven current members of the oceanic continental federation OFC. Australia participated until his move to the Asian Football Confederation ( AFC) 2006. Israel and Taiwan ( Chinese Taipei ) were from (sport) political reasons also temporarily for participants.
