Off Minor
Off Minor is an emocore band from New York / United States.
History
The band was formed in January 2000 after the dissolution of the legendary screamo band Saetia by former member James Behar and Steven Roche with Matt Smith. Later, Matt Smith rises as the bassist from around hot cross connect, which had been founded by the two other former members of Saetia. The band is then amplified by Stevens brother Kevin Roche.
Even before Matt Smith goes, the band brings their debut EP out called Problematic Courtship. 2004, the most recent work of the three will be published with the album Innominate.
The band is often on tour as they can, although guitarist and vocalist James Behar is still working on his medical degree. Especially in the European underground hardcore punk and Emoszene has the band made , not least through their concerts in some European tours, a name.
In 2004 the band a shorter Konzertauszeit.
Style
The band combines classic emotional hardcore with quiet, slightly spaced-out, melancholic parts and riotous, hard song scream Share with plants as well as elements of the harder Emos with kakophonischeren song structures and more aggressive, longer texts and shouted words. In addition, can be found at the tape also some jazz elements.
