Saetia

Saetia ( sā -sha: pronounced) was an existing 1997-1999 screamo band from New York, considered to be influential for the Screamogenre.

History

Saetia was founded in February 1997 in New York. The band's name comes from an accidental false writing of the song Saeta Miles Davis. In October 1999, the band broke up and it will appear in 2000 nor the single Eronel and 2001 under the name A Retrospective is a collection of all her recorded songs. The first and the last live show of the band both take place in a club called ABC No Rio.

The members of the band are constantly changing. Play 4 different members in the two and a half years as a band on bass. The drummer, Greg Drudy, also played with the band Interpol, shortly before they had success around the world. After the dissolution of the band members spread across the bands Off Minor, Hot Cross, The Fiction and Instruction.
