Ohrenspitzen

Large, Medium and Small ears tip (left to right)

The ear tips are three mountain peaks on the border between East Tyrol ( Austria ) and South Tyrol (Italy). The mountain range is from west to east from the Little Ears peak ( 2938 m above sea level. A. ), the Middle Ohrenspitze ( 3005 m above sea level. A. ) and the Big Ears peak ( 3101 m above sea level. A. ).

Increase opportunities

The climbs on the ears tips are unmarked and can only be reached by climbing in varying degrees of difficulty. Starting point for the ascent of the ear tips is the Barmer hut in the rule. Similarly, a rise above the Staller Sattel ( hunter -lip ) or the Lake Anterselva ( Riepe col ) is possible.

The Big Ears peak can be climbed from the Barmer hut in about two hours climbing on the Remscheid Charter ( Charte ears also called ). Some places have the second difficulty. Another way to increase Big Ears peak exists in three to four hours on the hunter 's Charter. Here follows the increase in the burr profile, which climbs up to the fourth degrees. The little ears top, a summit is exposed, can be reached in two hours from the Riepe notch in easy climbing of the first and second levels of difficulty. The middle ear tip can be climbed in about two hours from the Remscheid -lip. The increase has exposed and brittle climbing sections.
