Okara (food)

Okara is a tasteless by-product obtained during the production of soy milk. It can be used in many ways, for example as tasteless dough ingredient in cookies or as an insert in soups and stews (Korean bijijjigae ) in the kitchen. It is rich in dietary fiber, starch, protein and full-fledged well absorbable iron.
