Olesya Syreva

Olesja Syrewa (Russian Олеся Сырева, born November 25, 1983 in Novosibirsk ) is a Russian medium-and long -distance runner.

At the 2002 World Junior Championships, she won the bronze medal over 1500 and 3000 meters. In the Universiade 2005, she won gold. At the World Indoor Championships in 2006, she was fifth. At the European Indoor Championships in 2011, she won silver. However, due to a breach of the doping rules they had to return the medal and was banned for two years.
