Olga Cristea

Olga Cristea ( born December 13, 1987 in Chişinău ) is a Moldovan middle distance runner who specializes in the 800 -meter distance.

In 2003 she won silver at the IAAF World Youth Championships, 2006 Gold at the Junior World Championships in Beijing.

At the 2004 Olympics in Athens, she was eliminated in the flow. Four years later at the Beijing Games, she reached the semi-finals. At the World Championships in Berlin in 2009 she did not come on the first round also. In July 2010, an elevated testosterone value was detected in a drug test, Cristea was banned for two years.
