Oliver Korn

Oliver Korn ( born June 10, 1984 in Dusseldorf ) is a German hockey player.

Oliver Korn played since childhood for the Düsseldorf HC. Only in the 2006/2007 season he went to the Crefelder HTC, with whom he was German indoor champion and European champions. 2007/2008 came the striker back to the people of Düsseldorf and was under coach Volker Fried runner-up behind the DCadA, bringing the Düsseldorf for the Euro Hockey League were qualified. 2010 moved to the grain then Uhlenhorster HC to Hamburg.

2005 debuted grain in the German national hockey team. In 2007 he was at winning the World Indoor Championships in Vienna in the team. Outdoors, the German team won the FIH Champions Trophy in Kuala Lumpur. At the 2008 Olympic Games won Korn with the German team in the final against Spain 1-0 and became Olympic champion. After that grain was 2009 European Cup runners-up England and 2010 in India World Cup runners-up behind Australia. At the European Championships in 2011 in Mönchengladbach, the German team won the final against the Netherlands. In 2012 he was re- Olympic champion after the German 2-1 final win over the Netherlands.
