Oliver Lampe

Oliver lamp ( born April 9, 1974 in Hannover ) is a former German swimmer who started out as a dolphin and freestyle specialist for the Federal Republic of Germany. He won medals in the relay world and European champion and swam at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta. After his next professional swimming career, he became an entrepreneur.

Life

Oliver lamp is the son of Werner lamp and nephew of Hans Lampe. He grew up in - Taught Arpke on in Hanover and was trained at the local sports club from his father. Lamp graduated from secondary school and then studied business administration. In the winter of 1994/95 he made a semester abroad at the University of Tucson, Arizona. In 2010 he opened in Augsburg together with a butcher, a currywurst restaurant.

Sporting successes

1991 acquisition lamp part in the European Youth Championships. In 1993 he took part in the Summer Universiade in Buffalo and won two medals. In 1994 he was a finalist of the World Swimming Championships in Rome, where she won a bronze medal with the German relay. In 1995 he won the European title with the 4 x 200 m freestyle relay in Vienna. In 1996 he was a member of the 4 x 200 m freestyle relay at the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta. In the run he swam, and later the squadron won the bronze medal. 1996 won lamp above the 100 m butterfly, the German Cup in Braunschweig. 1995, 1997 and 1998 won lamp over 200 m butterfly, the German Cup in Warendorf, Munich and Hamburg. 2000 lamp came on at the German Championships in Berlin.
