Olivier Nzuzi

Oliver Nzuzi Niati Polo (born 16 September 1980) is a Congolese football player.

Career

Association

Nzuzis first club of the Renaissance FC was in Kinshasa, which he left in 1997 to Belgium. From 1997-1999 Nzuzi was the RWD Molenbeek under contract. In his first season, he got off with Molenbeek from the second Belgian league. After another year in the third division of the Congolese moved to Excelsior Mouscron in the highest Belgian league.

After this promotion to instantly fourth place in the Belgian league, in the following year and was seventh Mouscron Nzuzi left the club. He signed for Cercle Brugge, a former second division. After Nur one years in Bruges, he left Belgium and moved to Austria and Vorarlberg went to SC Schwarz-Weiß Bregenz. In all years, except for 2003/ 04, where one was fifth, he played with the Black and Whites against relegation, which was then also because of bankruptcy in 2004/05 reality. His debut for Bregenz he gave on 10 July 2002 against GAK, when he came on in the 77th minute for Thomas Eller.

After the bankruptcy and the descent of the Bregenz he moved to league rivals Sturm Graz. In the first season the Styrian was eighth, Nzuzi was top scorer of his team. 2007, with 13 points deduction, occupied storm seventh. Then left Nzuzi Austria and returned to Belgium and signed with UR Namur. After just one season, his contract was dissolved. Since 2008 Nzuzi is now without a club.

National

Internationally, he came up with eight games for DR Congo. He took part in Tunisia at the African Nations Cup 2004. In games against Tunisia and Rwanda Nzuzi was used, including in the game against Rwanda from the beginning. The DR Congo difference in the group stage as a group last.

Others

Although Nzuzi is a skilled center forward, he is used by his coaches frequently at right midfield.
