History

The club grew out of several club mergers. The foundation of the oldest precursor of the association dates back to 1905, when Union Sportive Namuroise and Namur FC emerged. In 1920 from the merger of Red Star Namur, U.S. Jamboise and Excelsior SC under the name of Namur Sports, another club that registered under the number 156 at the Belgian federation.
