The Omoloi (Russian Омолой ) is a 593 km long river or stream in the northeast of the Russian Republic of Sakha (Yakutia ).

Geographical location

The Omoloi rises in the western part of the extensive East Siberian Uplands in the east of the Verkhoyansk Mountains. Its source is at the southeastern flank of the elongated Sietindenskikamms to about 650 m.

The predominantly northward extending current flows through sparsely inhabited area and in the upper and middle course between the Sietindenskikamm the west and the Kulargebirge in the east. He passes through the village Namy, which is located just before the influence of the Ulachan - Baky.
