One-Two -Go was a Thai low-cost airline based in Bangkok and a wholly owned subsidiary of Orient Thai Airlines.

History

One-Two -Go took the flight operations on 3 December 2003. The first route was Bangkok - Chiang Mai, where the parent company Orient Thai Airlines has its base airport. Most recently, she offered weekly on 168 flights to different destinations and employed close to 650 people. In the medium term should be used up to ten MD -82. Mid-May 2007 it was announced that One -two -go 14 MD -81 will take over and held by Japan Airlines and would like to expand internationally.

As of 22 July 2008 the flight operation was set to 15 September 2008 as the airline notifies on their website. Essentially, the increased cost pressure is cited as the official reason. In April 2009, the airline has been included in the blacklist of the European Union, this ban was lifted on July 14, 2009.

Ever since the fleet of One-Two -Go in 2010 transferred to the parent company Orient Thai Airlines, this served the previous sections of the One-Two -Go in their own name.

Fleet

In autumn 2010, the MD -82 existing at this time of five McDonnell Douglas fleet of One-Two -GO was in the parent company Orient Thai Airlines integrated.

Incidents

  • A McDonnell Douglas MD -82 with registration HS- OMG the One-Two -Go Airlines raced on September 16, 2007, heavy rain during the landing of flight OG269 on the Phuket airport on the runway out in a forest. The pilot apparently tried going again after touchdown. The machine fell off balance and fell sideways to the ground. The misfortune machine with the registration HS- OMG had been put into service in 1983 with TWA. On board were 123 passengers and seven crew members. The accident claimed 91 lives. The airline announced its intention to afford maximum compensation payments to the victims.
