Onno Tunç

Onno Tunç (actually Ohannes Tunçboyacı; Armenian Օհաննես Թունչբոյաջյան; * 1948 in Istanbul, Turkey, † 14 January 1996 Armutlu, Yalova Province ) was a Turkish pop music scene for the Turkish musician, composer and arranger of Armenian descent. He is the older brother of Arto Tuncboyaciyan.

Life

Onno Tunç from more than 175 compositions are known. For international music competitions often he represented Turkey. Onno Tunç died on January 14, 1996 in a crash of his private plane on the way from Bursa to Istanbul.

Onno Tunç was close friends with the Turkish pop singer Sezen Aksu, they had worked together and composed. Onno Tunç had arranged all albums by Sezen Aksu until his death. The artist devoted himself to the victim several songs.
