History of Or ( Орь ) in the catchment area of the Ural

The Or ( Russian Орь ) is a left tributary of the Ural region Aktobe in Kazakhstan and the Russian Orenburg Oblast.

The Or is created at the confluence of Schili and Terisbutak on the western slopes of the mountains in western Kazakhstan Mugodschar. The river flows in a northerly direction in the Orenburg Oblast and leads finally to 332 km in Orsk in the Urals. The Or drained an area of 18,600 km ².
