Orden Ogan

Orden Ogan is a power and folk metal band that was founded in 1996 in Arnsberg, North Rhine -Westphalia.

History

The band was founded in 1996 by Sebastian Lever man, Sebastian Grütling and bassist Sebastian Severin as Dancing Aingewaide, named, however, a year later in order to Orden Ogan. First released three demo tapes: Into Oblivion (1997), Anthem to the Dark Side ( 1998) and Soli Deo Gloria (1999). 2004 came in the self- distribution CD Testimonium AD out on the last time the use of flutes, oboes and other wind instruments can be heard. 2008 their first studio album Vale was released on the record label Yonah Records.

Was released in 2010 the album Easton Hope, which also includes a single of the same has been decoupled. In addition, Easton Hope and We Are Pirates were filmed ( with guest artists Majk Moti ) music videos. 2010 the band played at the Rock Hard Festival and Wacken Open Air in Wacken was also announced that the album out of print Vale is re-published on November 11, 2010 by AFM Records. As a bonus, the music video of The Lord of the Flies will be included. From March to April 2011, Orden Ogan was as the opening act on tour with Grave Digger. In May 2011, the band and Lars Schneider went their separate ways; the separation was by mutual consent. Originally announced for 20 April, the new Orden Ogan album was finally released on 26 October 2012 on the label AFM Records. It is titled To the End. According to singer and guitarist " Seeb " Lever man is the new album " less bombastic " than the level of the previous Easton Hope from the year 2010. On the album was made a European tour with Freedom Call and the Italian bands vexillum and Luca Turilli 's Rhapsody.

Style

On their first albums moves the style between folk metal and power metal, from Testimonium AD it is in large part a pure power metal. The band describes their style as melodic metal. They are also seen as the successor of Blind Guardian, Running Wild or former Helloween.
