Oronzio Gabriele Costa

Oronzio Gabriele Costa ( born August 26, 1787 Lecce, † November 7, 1867 in Naples) was an Italian zoologist specializing in entomology.

Costa taught zoology at the University of Naples.

His sons Achille Costa (1823 - 1899), who succeeded to his chair to him, and Giuseppe Costa were also zoologists.
