The Bay of Osaka (Japanese大阪 湾, Osaka - wan) is a bay in western Japan. As the easternmost part of the Inland Sea, it is separated by the Akashi Strait in the south by the Pacific Ocean by the Kii Channel and to the west by the rest of the Inland Sea.

The west coast is formed by Awaji Island, in northern and eastern limit of the prefectures of Hyogo, Osaka and Wakayama Bay. The archipelago Tomogashima which is transverse in the Strait of Kii channel, is part of the Seto Inland Sea National Park.

The Bay of Osaka is the second largest metropolitan region in the country, the Kansai, and is widely used for vessel traffic. Many ports are used product handling and passenger transport; are the largest of the Osaka, Kobe and Sakai. Since the 1960s, numerous artificial islands were created, among other Port Iceland, Iceland and the Rokko Island airport for the Kansai airport and Kobe airport.
