Osborne Anderson

Osborne "Ty " Anderson (* October 15, 1908 in Fredrikstad, Norway, Asbjørn Andersen; † January 31, 1989 in Swampscott, Massachusetts ) was an American professional ice hockey player.

Career

The Norwegian-born Ty Anderson played for over a decade for the Boston Olympics and Atlantic City Seagulls of the Eastern Amateur Hockey League. Following his playing career, he was hockey coach in the high school area.

Internationally

For the U.S., Anderson participated in the 1932 Olympics in part in Lake Placid, where he won the silver medal with his team. At the World Championships 1931 he won with the USA also the silver medal.
