OSS 117

OSS 117 is the codename of the fictional secret agent Hubert Bonisseur de la Bath, an invention of the French writer Jean Bruce in 1949, the first story of the suave heartthrob wrote. Until his death, Bruce wrote 88 novels. The series was then supplemented by his wife Josette order 143 more and his children François and Martine to another 24 stories; the last appeared in 1996. In Germany, the novels were published as paperbacks at Moewig publisher.

Films

Following the success of spy films modeled after James Bond's also a number of OSS -117 films was created.

The films The Spy Who Loved and He himself is enough are parodies of said spy films of the 1960s and 70s; Comedian Oliver Kalkofe, who also wrote the synchronous book, borrowed the role of Hubert de la Bath Bonisseur his voice.
