Ostružná

Ostružná ( German Spornhau ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. You more than twelve kilometers southwest of Jeseník and belongs to Okres Jeseník.

Geography

Ostružná is located in the valley of the river Branná ( Schwarzenbach ) on a mountain pass on the Ramsauer saddle between the mountains Biel, Reichensteiner Mountains and Altvatergebirge. To the north rise the Travná hora ( mountain meadow, 1124 m) and the Smrk ( Fichtlich 1125 m). To the east are the Šerák ( high band, 1350m ), Keprník ( Kepernik, 1422 m) and the Černava ( Black Koppe, 1102 m).

Neighboring towns are Petříkov in the north, Ramzová in the northeast, Zadnà Alojzov and Přední Alojzov in the south, Branná and Kronfelzov the southwest, Adamov and Malé Vrbno in the West, as well as Velké Vrbno and Paprsek in the northwest.

History

The corresponding rule for Goldstein Pfarrsdorf Sparrenhau was founded in 1561. In the Moravian hooves register of 1677 are reported for the village 41 economies ( Farms ).

After the parish was extinguished in Spornhau in the 16th century again, this was in 1795 after the construction of the new church of St.. Three kings rebuilt. In 1800 the school building was inaugurated, previously carried out since the 18th century, instruction in various private homes. 1834 627 people lived in the village consisting of 98 houses. After the First World War Spornhau seat was a state forest mining area, the cultivated 900 hectares of forest. For processing the wood a sawmill was operated in place. There were also two grinding mills.

After the abolition of patrimonial regimes was 1848, the municipality Spornhau / Spornava with the hamlet of Peter Wald, who belonged to the District Commission Moravian Schönberg in 1850. 1888 was built over the pass the railway line from Hannsdorf Freiwaldau. In 1918 the German school next to a Czech minority school, which was closed in 1938.

1930 lived 708 people in Spornhau. As a result of the Munich Agreement in 1938 the community was annexed by the German Reich and belonged until 1945 to the district Moravian Schönberg. 1939 Spornhau 658 inhabitants. After the Second World War, the German inhabitants were expelled. After the re- colonization many of the residents left because of the less productive soils the place. At the same time the tourist development of the town began. Since 1960, Ramzová belongs to the municipality. 1975 Ostružná was incorporated into Branná. At the beginning of 1990, the municipality was created in 1996, and came Okres Jeseník. On the Šerák was built by Ramzová from a cable car and Petříkov developed into a winter sports center with bobsleigh.

The municipality consists of the villages Ostružná Ostružná ( Spornhau ), Petříkov (Peter Forest) and Ramzová ( Ramsau ).
