Otjinene is a village and the administrative seat of the constituency of the same name in the region Omaheke (formerly Hereroland ) in the east of Namibia with 2100 inhabitants. The entire constituency has an area of ​​12,283 square kilometers and 7,400 inhabitants.

The former Ovaherero Chief Alfons Kaihepaovazandu Maharero comes from Okonja at Otjinene.

Otjinene is located approximately 200 kilometers north of Gobabis and about 170 kilometers east of Okakarara. Large parts of the constituency are farmland.
