Ottawa Renegades

The Ottawa Renegades were a Canadian football team from Ottawa in the Canadian province of Ontario. They played in the Canadian Football League and there in the East Division. The Renegades were founded in 2002, after in 1996, the Ottawa Rough Riders had dissolved and the Canadian capital had to make do for five years without CFL football.

The helmet design of the Ottawa Renegades consisted of the bust of a man with black hat holding a football in his hands, in front of a red maple leaf. The base color was black. The club colors were red, silver gray and black.

The Ottawa Renegades never reached the playoffs the Canadian Football League East Division. 2006, the team was disbanded.
