The Otterbach, at the headwaters also Süssenbach has its origins in the Bavarian Vorwald at the confluence of Weis Mühlbach and Steinbach in Süssenbach. It flows through Süssenbach, Forstmühle, Bruckhäusl, from light wood, hammer mill to flow into the Danube near Sulzbach an der Donau. Tributaries are the Sulzbach, Charles Wiesbach, the sky Mühlbach and Starz Bach (for Welmühlbach ). Between the hammer mill and Forstmühle leads along the creek a popular hiking trail.

  • Steinbach, spring creek from the right in the forest - Süssenbach.
  • Mühlbach sky, from left shortly before Altenthann - Forstmühle to about 450 m above sea level. NN.
  • Room Thaler brook, from the right shortly after Althentann - Forstmühle to about 439 m above sea level. NN.
  • Karl Wiesbach, from left between Forstmühle and Altenthann - Bruckhäusl
  • Steinseige from the left in Bruckhäusl.
  • Thief ditch, from left east of Altenthann - Heuweg to 365.3 m above sea level. NN.
  • Sulzbach, from right in Altenthann sub- light forest to almost 350 m above sea level. NN.
  • Tiergarten ditch, from left little below the hammer mill to about 325 m above sea level. NN, about 3.7 km. Arises as knobs Bach to about 499 m above sea level. NN 600 m east-southeast of Steinberg Summit.
