Otto Tibulski

Otto " Ötte " Tibulski (* December 15, 1912, † 25 February 1991) was a German football player.

Tibulski played 1936-1948 with Hans Klodt, Fritz Szepan, Serious Kuzorra and Adolf Urban for FC Schalke 04 The Royal Blues of the center-half in the thirties and forties of the 20th century six times German champion and once won the Tschammerpokal, he made over 1000 games for royal blue.

In the years 1936 and 1939 he played each one match for the German national football team, against Luxembourg in 1936 and 1939 against Yugoslavia.

After his career, he was host Schalke in the clubhouse. He was buried at the Old Cemetery in Gelsenkirchen.

His brother also played for Schalke.

On June 19, 2011 Tibulski was appointed to the Schalke honor cabin.
