Wagaya no Oinari - sama. (Japanese我が家 の お 稲荷 さま, dt about. " Venerable Inari [ vixen ] our house. " ) is a light novel series of the Japanese author Jin Shibamura with illustrations by Eizo testicles. The series was adapted into a manga and anime. The work is classified in the genres of fantasy and comedy.
Content
Kūgen Tenko (天 狐 空幻) is an Inari fox ( Kitsune ) and was the guardian of the Mizuchi family until it was sealed by a priest because of their bad behavior. But when in modern times the boy Tōru Takagami (高 上 透) is attacked by a demon, freed his elder, 16 - year-old brother Noboru Takagami (高 上 升) the sealed Kūgen Tenko, to protect him. Noboru is the future head of the Mizuchi family.
From then on Kūgen Tenko serves as the guardian of the two brothers, while they may take on a female and a male mold. However, they brought with her unusual appearance, such as the fox ears, attention, and must be in the public hide.
Publication
The light novel first published in February 2004 from the publisher ASCII Media Works in Japan under the label Dengeki Bunko. By October 2007, seven volumes have been published. The first volume won the 10th Dengeki Novel Prize in gold in advance of publication in 2003.
Adaptations
Manga
An adaptation of the light novel as manga has been published since February 2007 in the magazine Dengeki Comic Gao! , Since April 2008 Dengeki Daioh in. The drawings are by Suiren Shofu. By February 2010, the chapter initially appeared in five anthologies.
Anime
In 2008, the studio ZEXCS produced and directed by Yoshiaki Iwasaki a 24- episode anime television series for light novel. The character design of the series designed Yasunari Nitta. The series was erstausgestrahlt at midnight and thus previous TV day of Chiba TV on April 7, 2008 to 15 September 2008. With one and a half hour delay followed TV Saitama, from 8 April TV Kanagawa and KBS Kyoto, Sun TV from 9 April and from April 10, Tokyo MX and TV Aichi. A nationwide broadcast took place only from 20 August 2009 to 28 January 2010 AT -X.

The music composed by Yasuharu Takanashi series. The header title is KI -ZU -NA - Haruka Naru Mono e ( KI -ZU -NA ~遥か なる 者 へ) by Hitomi Sora, used to Kaze ga Nani ka o Iou to Shiteiru (風 が なに か を 言お う としてfor Broadcast いる) by Saori Hayami and Shiawase no kotodama (シアワセ の 言霊) of Yukana, Hayami Saori and Takahashi Mikako.
