Nippon Ichi Software

K. K. Nippon Ichi Software (Japanese株式会社 日本一 ソフトウェア, Kabushiki - gaisha Nippon Ichi Sofutowea, Eng. Nippon Ichi Software, Inc.) is a Japanese manufacturer and publisher of video games. Literally translated, the company name "Japan's number 1". Nippon Ichi Software is well known in Europe, especially for the Disgaea series.

In September 1991, the company was Y.K. Prism founded (有限 会社 プリズム, Yugen - gaisha Purizumu, since March 2006, YK Rose Queen Shokai (有限 会社 ローゼン クイーン 商会) ). At a press conference by NIS America in July 2010, more titles have been announced for localization, as well as two new developments. With Ar Tonelico Qoga: Knell of Ar Ciel (PS3) a title to appear in spring 2011 in North America, which appeared in Japan as Ar Tonelico III.
