Ousman Jallow

Ousman Jallow ( born October 21, 1988 in Banjul) is a Gambian football player. He he was at the clubs Wallidan Banjul and Al Ain Club.

Career

Association

His youth club was Wallidan Banjul, during which time he participated in the U-17 World Cup in 2005 and played part of Gambia against the selection of Brazil. Two years later he was for four games at the U- 20 Football World Cup 2007 in use.

After his move to Brøndby the agile attacker be debut on 18 September 2008 in the first team. In the UEFA Cup match against Rosenborg BK, he came off the bench for the second half for Jan Kristiansen. His league debut took place four days later; in the match against Esbjerg fB he was in the starting lineup by coach Tom Køhlert. Only one and a half weeks later, he scored his first league goal for Brøndby, the winning goal for 1-0 at Odense BK.

His eye for goal and his interaction with his strike partner Morten " Duncan " Rasmussen impressed. However, in the second half of 2008/ 09 he was a substitute. The team took third place at the end of the season. In autumn 2009, Jallow had due to an injury sidelined several weeks, however, played after the winter break as an integral part in the starting eleven back and once again achieved with Brøndby the third place, thus qualifying for the UEFA Europa League 2010/11. Brøndby penetrated into the play- offs, where Sporting Lisbon in Portugal, thanks to a goal from Jallow was defeated 2-0.

After the contract expired at Brøndby in the summer of 2011, joined the strikers in Turkey to the local second division Çaykur Rizespor.

National

For the Gambian football team he was during qualifying for the FIFA World Cup 2010 in use.
