Ovesné Kladruby

Ovesné Kladruby ( German Habakladrau, formerly Kladrau ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. The village is located five kilometers east of Marianske Lazne and belongs to Okres Cheb.

Geography

Ovesné Kladruby is located south of the Imperial Forest in Teplá Highlands. To the northwest, the 847 m high rises Podhorní vrch, whose environment has been described by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe geognostisch. To the northeast lies the fed by the Teplá Trinkwassertalsperre Podhora.

Neighboring towns are Horni Kramolín in the northeast, Mrázov in the east, in the southeast Bezvěrov, Výškovice and Pístov in the south, Martynov in the southwest, and Vlkovice Milhostov in the west and Zádub and Závišín in the northwest.

History

Since 1242 was in the place a parish station for the surrounding villages. First documented the existence of Tepl belonging to the monastery village Avenatika Cladruna is (from Latin avena = oats; see also Czech oves = oats; cases klady robots = tribes, Lumberjack village, see Kladrau ) occupied in 1273. Since 1363 consisted of the diocese Habakladrau, which consisted of the villages Habakladrau, Abaschin, High Village, Müllestau, Wischezahn and Wischkowitz.

The monastery gave the village a number of privileges, including the heritability of possessions under German law, the right to brew and Low jurisdiction. On April 25, 1611 a large fire destroyed a part of the village with the church; died in the same year within four months of 130 inhabitants to the plague. In the 17th century there were intentions to acquire the status of a market, patch or even a town. 1717 withdrew from the monastery to the city the right to free succession of courtyards.

After the replacement of the Patrimonionalherrschaften Habakladrau in 1849 part of the district Tepl. 1882 was the site of 73 houses where 501 people lived. With the establishment of the judicial district Marienbad in 1888 Habakladrau belonged to this. The construction of the branch line Marianske Lazne Karlovy Vary the place in 1898 received a railroad connection. After the Second World War, the German-Bohemian population was expelled. As a result, it came to increased influx of Czechs from the interior, Slovaks, Roma and returnees.

In 1960, the annexation to Marianske Lazne; since November 24, 1990 Ovesné Kladruby is a separate municipality again.

For the community Ovesné Kladruby no districts are reported. Basic settlement units are Ovesné Kladruby ( Habakladrau ) and Vysočany ( Wischezahn ).

The municipality is divided into the Katastralbezirke Ovesné Kladruby and Vysočany u Ovesných Kladrub.
