Oyri

Oyri [ ɔiɹɪ ] (Danish: Øre ) is a place of the Faroe Islands on the west coast Eysturoys.

Oyri is located south of the neighboring town Oyrarbakki on the Sound ( Sundini ) between Eysturoy and Streymoy. Here the road ends along the west coast to the south.

To reach the more southern location Selatrað the same coast, drivers have to take more than 35 km detour. You can get from here inland to Skálafjørður A trail.
