Pablo Galimberti

Jaime Pablo Galimberti di Vietri ( born May 8, 1941 in Montevideo, Uruguay) is a Roman Catholic priest and Bishop of Salto.

Galimberti, whose ordination took place on 29 May 1971 was appointed on 12 December 1983 as bishop of the Diocese of San José de Mayo, Uruguay. The episcopal ordination took place on 18 March 1984 by the Apostolic Nuncio Franco Brambilla. He held until 2006, when he was diagnosed on 16 May 2006 as Bishop of Salto This Episcopate.

From 1998 to 2000 he also served as Vice Chairman of the Uruguayan Episcopal Conference ( Conferencia Episcopal del Uruguay), in the years 2001 to 2003, he was there, the general secretariat held. Currently, he shall exercise the presidency of this institution. He is also Vice - President of the Confraternidad Judeo- Cristiana de Uruguay.
