Pachuco

The Pachucos were a Mexican youth culture in the American South during the 1930s and 1940s.

The Pachucos limited by a certain style of dress ( " Zoot Suits " ) and its own dialect ( Calo ) from both the U.S. and the Mexican society from, and often came into conflict with the law. In Mexico, the Pachucos in particular by the philosopher Octavio Paz were known, of The Labyrinth of Solitude dedicated the Pachucos in his major work an investigation.

The famous Royal Crown Revue Neoswing band dedicated the Pachucos a song called hey Pachuco, which is performed by the band in the comedy The Mask.
