Paco Ibáñez

Paco Ibáñez [ pako iβaɲeθ ] ( born November 20, 1934 in Valencia ) is a Spanish singer-songwriter. His work mainly consists of settings of poems by Spanish-speaking authors. He has been involved for decades on the part of the political left.

Life

His father was a cabinet maker and sympathized with the anarchists. He spent his early childhood in Barcelona, ​​but at the end of the Spanish Civil War in 1939 had to flee to France the family.
