Hannan, Tom Flanagan and Daniel Shea discovered gold, 40 kilometers from the Coolgardie goldfields their horses lost their horseshoes near the Mount Charlotte. After they had their claim registered, they found more than 100 ounces of gold and three days after enrollment were 700 gold prospectors in this gold box.
