Page-Playoff-System
The Page playoff system is a special form of the playoffs, which mainly comes today at major championships in curling apply. When it is used for Softball at World Championships and Olympic Games. Even the championship final of the Australian Football League A -League is played in this mode.
History
The system was developed in 1931 by Percy Page for the Australian Football championship of the state of Victoria, where it was used until 1971. The Australian rugby league championship was played from 1954 to 1972 according to this system.
