Indian Premier League

The Indian Premier League ( भारतीय प्रीमियर लीग ) is a competition for Indian cricket teams. He is the Board of Control for Cricket in India, the Indian Cricket Association, held, and the game form is the Twenty20 Cricket. Since the Erstaustragung 2008, three more editions were held, with the IPL 2009 season took place for safety in South Africa. The sixth season was held between April 3 and May 26, 2013.

History

Season 2008

The first season began on 18 April 2008 with the play of Kolkata Knight Riders at the Royal Challengers Bangalore. 58 Of the 59 scheduled games could be played, one fell victim to rain. The third season was again held in India. TV rights

Funding for the competition will be done primarily through television rights. On 15 January 2008, a consortium consisting of Sony Entertainment Television and the World Sport Group has secured the global broadcasting rights to the IPL. The contract case has a term of ten years and secures the IPL total of 1.026 billion U.S. dollars. 72 % of these proceeds will go directly to the deductible, 20 % remain with IPL and 8% are exposed as prize money.

Player

The players will be auctioned prior to each season of the individual franchises. Before the first season a special auction was held, in which virtually all of the best and most famous cricket players in the world were available. Game Mode

In the early years, when the league consisted of eight teams, were all deductible once each Away and home against each other.
