Deccan Chargers ( Telugu: డెక్కన్ చార్జర్స్; Abbreviation: DC, German: warhorses Deccas ) is a franchise team that represents Hyderabad in cricket in the Indian Premier League. 2009 the team won the championship.

The franchise was founded by the Deccan Chronicle Group, the 107 million dollars paid in the first team auction, but in 2012 sought a sale.
