Palazzo Poli

The Palazzo Poli, also Palazzo Conti, is a palace in Rome in Rione Trevi.

The palace was built in 1566 by Martino Longhi for Ceri family. 1678 earned him Lucrezia Colonna. By her marriage with Lothario Conti Count Giuseppe Poli he came into the possession of the Counts of Poli. As of 1732, the entire southern façade was built over the Trevi Fountain by Nicola Salvi. For the middle part of the palace was demolished.

In this palace, the Russian Princess Zinaida Volkonskaya was in the 1830s, their lavish parties. The palace currently is a globally important collection of engravings of the last centuries. The Istituto Nazionale per la Grafica has its headquarters in the palace.
