Pandemonium (video game)
Pandemonium ( English: "chaos" or " turmoil ", from Ancient Greek: παν pan " all" or "whole" and δαίμων daimon " divine being ", see pandemonium ) is a video game company Toys for Bob. It was released in 1996 for Sony's PlayStation. The game received very good awards from the trade press and was commercially so successful that a year later the successor Pandemonium 2 appeared. Both parts were ported to other systems.
The Games
In both games, there is Jump ' n' Run. The special features are as follows:
- Graphics: might look after 3D view, however, the control allows only 2D paths. Part 1 is here on a fairy-tale setting, Part 2 on psychedelic worlds.
- Choice of character: at the beginning you choose between Nikki and the court jester Fargus. Both have different properties. For example, Nikki perform a double somersault and thus jump higher, Fargus, however, use his speaking staff as missiles.
- Level selection: To select the next or previous level unlocked, you run with the character of a kind card.
- Bonus Level: Upon reaching a certain number of points, the player must play a bonus level after completing a level.
- The PC version supports 3dfx graphics cards. The game can be but also without 3dfx graphics card install and play, but in a much worse graphics quality.
